About Me
I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I started creating art in 2008 when I was in high school, working in drawing, painting and ceramics. In 2013, I earned my B.A in Drawing and Painting from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Since graduating, my work has been primarily in acrylic, oil painting and printmaking. I also venture into watercolor and ceramics!
I have exhibited my work at Twin Cities galleries and venues such as the St. Paul Art Crawl, (A.Z. Gallery, The Show Gallery in St. Paul), and Minneapolis art festivals such as the Powderhorn Art Fair. I am always seeking new exhibition opportunities in all communities of the Twin Cities.
Art education has made a huge impact on my life. In 2021, I earned my Masters of Education and K-12 Initial Licensure in Arts Education from the University of Minnesota. I have been teaching art to students in both private studio settings, recreation, continuing and public education settings for 4 years.
Some of my hobbies outside of art include spending time in nature and traveling. I love being at my home in South Minneapolis with my husband and cat (I am an introvert). I enjoy learning new crafts and have an interest in languages!
